Two date nights in a row!

Easter weekend was busy for us, but definitely a fun busy. And fortunately we had two date nights planned so that helped calm the chaos.
Before our busy weekend we made sure to let the girls get lots of rest:
And then we took a family walk to the park...
 ...it was fabulously warm!

Friday night Lance and Kayla drove up and we took them downtown for dinner and dessert.
Getting in some time with the girls before we went out

While we were gone the girls had plenty of people to dote on them. Heather came over and then her friends Gina and Amanda came to play with the girls. I heard Bria wouldn't let Amanda out of her site (although she kept calling her Gina, haha). Tracy also stopped by and was able to put Reese down for bed.
We knew the girls were in great hands so we thoroughly enjoyed our amazing dinner and devoured our dessert. Seriously, Papa Hayden's has the best dessert in the entire world. We all ordered something different and then shared. It was fabulous. And the extra 10 pounds I gained was worth it.
Saturday night we were staying at Marna's and her and Heather were kind enough to put the girls to bed for us so we could go have a drink with our dear friends, Tiff and Eric. Brian has been friends with them since high school and they were our first couple friends when we started dating. I love our history with them, so many good memories.

They also have two little girls, Maggie will be 5 in June and Tessa is 7 months. So fun to talk kids with them, we are going through similar things and it's nice to compare notes.

Brian and I are definitely spoiled with amazing babysitters. I can't tell you how much it means that we have family and close friends to watch the girls while we go out, not to mention the amount of money we are saving. I'm still trying to figure out how to repay Heather for always being available and willing. She is doing a great job making it undesirable to move away!
