Well the wedding is coming closer! Only 3 weeks away.
This last weekend was very eventful for us! We celebrated our bachelor and bachelorette parties. Brian and all his friends went to the beach for the weekend and stayed at the Bauer's beach house who were generous and let all the guys stay there. Big Tom Bauer went over and BBQ'd some steaks for the guys the first night who enjoyed them thoroughly! They woke up (some chose to not ever go to bed) at 5 am on Saturday and went deep sea fishing. I think it's safe to say they had an unforgettable time on the boat. Most of them threw up at least once and a few, including the groom to be, spent the entire time bent over the edge of the boat. But have no fear, after they went home and rested they began the night with playing some poker and than headed to the casino. They finished up the night on the beach sitting in front of a bonfire. I know Brian had a good time and it sounded like the rest of them did as well. They are talking about making the guys weekend an annual event, sounds good to me, I would love an annual girls weekend :-)
My bachelorette party started Saturday at 3 pm when Sara and Jenny came over and we all got ready. This is always fun but the heat made it a little slow as we had to take breaks and try to cool down! We headed up to Portland to meet Nicole and Tiff at the hotel. After some delays witht he taxi we headed to Henry's restaurant to have dinner, drinks, and open some presents! Shauna and Ashley joined us here, when they told the waitress they were here for the bachelorette party she sent them to the wrong table. After Shauna played with the bride's hair (thinking it was me!) they realized they were at the wrong table and came running over to us, it was hilarious! I got so many fun things including handcuffs (not sure what to use those for ;) ), underwear, a frame the girls all signed that said: Lindsey's Last stand '06, big fake diamond ring and bracelet, and a veil. After dinner we went to Darcelle's for a women impersonater show. Gretchen and Amy met us here and I can't tell you how much fun we had! It was so funny to watch men dressed as women lip sink to Cher, Reba, and other singers. Good times! We went to Voodoo, a dance club, afterwards and got our groove on. We danced until we dropped and went to the hotel to sleep. I had so much fun and am so grateful to my sister Jenny for how much she did for me, she is the best. All my friends were so good to me that night and I am so glad they were all there to share it with me.
Thank you to all our friends for making memories.

This is Brian and Lindsey's blog where you can learn all about us. We met 5 years ago through OSU cheer and have been together for 2 1/2 years. He is the love of my life and I can't wait to marry him on July 15th! I work at a Credit Union in the accounting department and love the people I work with. I have been there for 2 years. Brian works at UPS as a driver and has more ambition than anyone I have ever known. We enjoy where we work and aspire to do great things in our careers!
Brian and I love to hang out with our family and friends and of course our adorable dog MJ. She is a pomeranean maltese with the sweetest personality in the world, plus she doesn't bite or bark:)
We are so excited to get married this summer, July 15th is coming so fast! Our honeymoon is going to be wonderful, we are going to Maui and since neither of us have been to Hawaii it will be very special.
We have 4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen in the wedding and all of them we love dearly. My sisters Jaime and Jenny are my matron and maid of honor, respectively. Brian's twin sister Sara, and our dear friend Tiff will be bridesmaids as well. Brian's best man is Bauer (Nathan Bauer) who we both met about 5 years ago when we started OSU Cheer. Craig, Shane, and Eric will be groomsmen and they are long time friends of Brian's.
