Quality time

I'm such a creeper...I love watching my kids sleep
Speaking of sleeping, our girls are crazy at night. We went to check on them before we went to bed and this is what we found:
This was in Reese's room. Reese decided to sleep on the floor and Bria didn't want to sleep alone so she joined her sister. The funny part is that about 20 minutes later we hear something and Brian goes in to find Reese trying to wake up her sister and saying, "Move, get out!" Bria slept right through it, even when Brian moved her into her own bed.
I did a Mommy/daughter day with Reese. She had birthday money to spend and she wanted to go to the mall. We went to Build-a-Bear and she picked out a pink Pony.
She was so excited, and it was all her own money
After playing at the mall for awhile we had a picnic at the park.

While Bria is at school I get a lot of time with Reese, but it's not always quality time. I'm usually trying to clean the house, do the dishes, do the laundry, and feed her and Penny. So when I get to take her out and do fun things it's such a treat. She is a lot of fun to be with and is just so happy and playful.
Brian and I got out for a date night with Scott and Randi last weekend. We did dinner, Fright Town, and then Voodoo donuts.
It felt good to get out and have some fun.

Sisters and a wedding

While Bria is at school, these 2 munchkins have been having a ball together...
They play like sisters and occasionally fight like them too :)

Bria road her bike every single day last week. She has pretty much mastered it and even likes going up and down hills...I'm so proud of her. Having her accomplish something that seemed impossible to her, helps her realize that it's better to try.

Randi's sister got married at her house a few weekends ago and Amanda and I were eager to jump in and help wherever we were needed. We did linens, lifted beer kegs, tied bows, hammered signs, makeup, hair, you name it! We both LOVE weddings and helping make someones day perfect is the best feeling.
Scott and Randi's house is amazing to say the least. It's hard to not have a gorgeous wedding there.

Wait, is that Brian?
Yep, that's my man up there! This wasn't planned, unless you consider 2.5 hours before the ceremony planned, hehe. The officiant got a concussion when a vase fell on her head (she was helping decorate, her friend was the wedding coordinator). I called Brian and told him to suit up...literally. But what would we do about the girls and Bria's soccer game? No problem, Dusty to the rescue. That's right, that man brought both his boys over and took all 4 kids to Bria's soccer game. Not just that, he also got them all ready for the wedding and brought them over for some fun. How great is that? We are lucky to have such amazing and thoughtful friends in our life.

Brian did great
Normally Brian and I practice quite a bit before he performs a wedding, this time he got to run through it once and then it was go time. I was impressed with how well he did considering the lack of preparation.
Here was us practicing before:

It was a sweet ceremony and the flower girls sure were adorable...

Get it Randi!

Yay for dancing!!! Bria finds friends everywhere she goes :)
It was quite a day and we all had a great time. It's hard not to have fun at a wedding, there's love, dancing, food, drinks...it's pure happiness.
