That was pretty fun

Christmas was awesome, the week after was perfect, and we are currently ending the first week back to school and it's proving to be very busy.

Christmas:
Christmas Eve we went to Scott and Randi's house in the late afternoon for some dinner and let all the girls play and run around.

Setting the table for our adult dinner (we let the kids play while we ate, best idea ever.)

Loved this set up of Randi's :)

The guys bringing out the Turkey!

The girls having a blast!

We came home around 6:30 pm and let the girls open their jammies! Both got Frozen robes, Bria got Elsa slippers and Reese got Anna slippers. Bria got a my little pony night gown and Reese got a Frozen one.

Reese did NOT want to take pictures

We watched Elf as a family and cuddled until almost 9 pm then put the girls to bed. The crashed and Bria woke up about 7 am and we went and got Reese then went downstairs to see what Santa brought!
Christmas morning!

Bria: Flutterbye Fairy and a unicorn Janimal (exactly what she asked for!)

Reese: Barbies and unicorn Janimal

Reese was very excited about the Janimal!
Girls continued to open presents and I think they liked them. One of Bria's favorite was in her stocking: gum. :)
Playing her harmonica

Bria's presents from us: Ramona book collection, clothes, Barbies, and a princess electric toothbrush and toothpaste.

Reese's presents from us: If You Give a Moose a Muffin, clothes, Barbies, and a Hello Kitty electric toothbrush and toothpaste.

Brian got me a gorgeous sweater, bluetooth speaker for the shower, and brand new pillow cases to match our favorite sheets.

I got Brian a BBQ grill gauge, shirt, and a weekend without the kids!! I surprised him by having it all planned out, Friday-Sunday was kid free at our house and we went to dinner, got pedicures, went to lunch, shopped, went a movie, and slept in. It was fabulous.

Anyway, after our presents we ate our traditional cinnamon rolls then got ready and headed down to G&G Armstrongs.

Grandpa with his youngest Grandson, Ames Wilde.
The kids had a fabulous time playing together and us adults got lots of socializing in. It was so nice to spend the whole day together.

Kailey tried on the Janimals!

Aunt Jenny
My Dad's neighbors tree fell into his yard and after quite awhile of promising to get it taken care of, he still hadn't. So the brothers went out and took matters into their own hands.

::sigh::

Porter and his sidekick, Jax

"Never let go Aunt Lulu," Ames sighed as he grasped my finger. I won't buddy, I won't!

So photogenic
We had such a good time with the family on Christmas, and it wasn't over yet. The day after Christmas we went to Brian's Dad's house where his Mom and Terry also joined us along with his stepsister, her husband, and their two kiddos.

Grandpa Holcomb slept through it...just kidding ;)

Like Father like Daughter

Silly Terry

Hi Tracy!
At this point I should let you know these pictures were all taken by Bria. She went camera crazy!! It was nice to not have to stress about taking pictures, ha!

Eric

Aunt Heather (all tan from her Puerto Vallarta trip!)

Bria, Josh, Reese, and Becky
Once again the kids had such a good time playing with their cousins. We don't see Josh and Becky as often as we would like but the kids still pick up right where they left off and it's fun to see. Brian's Dad is never short on delicious beverages for the adults and this was no exception. Wine and hard cider were on the menu and both were delicious.
The kids opened presents and got spoiled as usual. Girls are stocked with cute clothes and fun toys :)
The girls were quickly losing steam as we had a busy couple days so we headed home and Reese promptly fell asleep.
We got home, tucked the kids in bed, and sat down on the couch for some much needed R&R.
Love Christmas!
