Mom's go camping

 Lark was on sabbatical for most the summer and it was amazing, she planned so many fun things and got me all motivated to be adventurous. Brian also traveled for work a lot which was very hard, so we threw out the idea of us moms taking the kiddos camping :) We told our crazy idea to Amanda who was in, and we also told Randi but she said we were nutty...which is true!
We planned to go to Lost Lake, hadn't been there but heard it was gorgeous. It's first come first serve so it was a little stressful when we had been driving for 2 hours and saw a sign on the turn off that said Campground Full. But fortunately they had walk ins available and we found an amazing site that was large enough for all enough and had plenty of room for the kids to explore.

 The day we got there was overcast and even rained a little, but the next day before we headed out we got to enjoy the sunshine and let the kids play in the lake.

 And I couldn't go home with wine left over...so we each took a pull...

It was such a fabulous camping trip and super relaxing. We joked that it was more relaxing than with our hubbies because no one was supervising our every move and correcting the way we did things haha! But seriously, it was so successful that we are planning on making it an annual thing!
