Soaking it up

Since Bria loves the snow so much we need to take advantage of it. So on Sunday morning Brian decided it was a good day for Mt. Hood. Dusty and the boys joined us, Amanda had to work so I made sure to take lots of pictures for her.
We loaded up in our car and drove until we reached the snow!
We found a cute little area to go sledding, make snow angels, discover things in the "winter woods" as Bria puts it (from a TinkerBell movie...Secret of the Wings).
Everyone had a blast...except Reese. This girl is not a snow bunny yet. I finally got her to calm down and go to sleep which helped. Next time Heather offered to take Reese for the day...I think we will take her up on that :)

 After some fun in the snow we headed to Timberline Lodge to look around and warm up, then headed home in some heavy traffic.

We stopped by McDonalds on the way home because, well, obviously there are 4 kids in the car who wanted to stretch their legs and consume mass amounts of chicken nuggets. After filling their bellies and letting them run around the play area, we got on the road where Reese and Weston promptly fell asleep and Bria and Bennett played adorably and watched a movie.

Fun was had by all and we can't wait to do it again!
