First boating trip

We went on our first boating trip of the season and it was FABULOUS!! 

I'm embarrassed to say we didn't make it out last summer so this was also our first time on my Mom and Randy's new boat.

We drove to Detroit Lake on Saturday and were incredibly lucky to get amazing weather, it was sunny and in the 80's. However, the water was still in the low 60's so we just dangled our legs in.

Reese immediately started crying when we took off, haha. We need to get this girl use to the boat and the roar of the engine :) She warmed up to it, but still preferred the boat to be stopped.

 We made a little shaded area for Reese with the umbrella, I thought she was sleeping but when I peaked in she was just chillin.

Wahoo!

Both girls loved sitting on the back platform and sticking their feet in. They got in all the way and wanted us to but there was no way, it was so cold!
We putted around, ate lunch, and just had a good time.

We had a fabulous day on the boat and I seriously can't wait to go again!
